Why I Built Success Gravity
Hi — I'm David, a marketer and business owner. Success Gravity started with a habit I couldn't shake: for years, friends and fellow business owners kept asking me the same questions, and I kept giving the same answers. "Install this. Try that site. Yes, that subscription is actually worth it." Most people around me didn't even know these tools existed — tools I used every day to run marketing campaigns and grow real businesses.
At some point the answer became obvious: stop repeating myself and put it all in one place. Not just a list of names, but the comparison I'd give a friend — what each tool actually does, what it really costs, where it falls short, and which one I'd pick in their situation. That's Success Gravity: the recommendation engine I wish I could have handed to every person who ever asked me "so what should I use?"
Yes, some links here earn us a commission — that's disclosed everywhere it applies, and it keeps the site free. But the site exists because the advice came first. The tools I recommend most enthusiastically include plenty that pay us nothing at all — including the completely free stack I tell every new business owner to set up before spending a dollar.
Who Runs This Site
David — Founder & Editor. I've spent years running digital marketing for my own businesses: paid search, SEO, email, and the daily reality of choosing tools on a real budget. Every review on this site follows the methodology I use for my own stack decisions, and every "best pick" is one I'd defend to a friend over coffee. You can reach me directly at [email protected].
How We Review
Our reviews follow a consistent framework so tools can be compared fairly:
- Core job: What is this tool actually best at — and does it deliver?
- Real pricing: What it costs at realistic usage levels, including the gotchas (per-seat fees, contact-based tiers, add-ons).
- Ease of use: How long it takes to get from signup to real results.
- Honest cons: Every tool has trade-offs. We say what they are, even for tools we recommend.
- Who it's for: A tool that's perfect for an agency may be overkill for a solo creator. We always say who should buy — and who shouldn't.
How We Make Money
Transparency matters to us. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This is how we keep the site free.
Affiliate partnerships never determine our ratings or recommendations. We regularly recommend free plans, cheaper alternatives, and tools that pay us nothing when they're the better fit. Read our full affiliate disclosure for details.
